  • TROGIR, museum city (UNESCO)

In the 3rd century BC, Trogir was founded by Greek colonists from the island of Vis, and it developed into a major port until the Roman period.Trogir is the best-preserved Romanesque-Gothic complex not only in the Adriatic, but in all of Central Europe. Trogir’s grandest building is the church of St. Lawrence, whose main west portal is a masterpiece by Radovan, and the most significant work of the Romanesque-Gothic style in Croatia.

 

  •  Domenican monastery and shrine of The Holy Cross

Dominican Monastery of the Holy Cross was built in the early 15th century on the island of Ciovo. Church is famous for a miracle which happend during normal afternoon in 19th century when Jesus's head wounds started bleeding on central cross behind the altar.

 

  • Krka national park
Krka National Park is open to visitors year round. Within the park, visitors have many interesting things to see and do: Skradinski buk, Roski slap and other sites, take a walk down the educational trail, view the ethnography presentations, find refreshment in the restaurant and buy souvenirs. Tours are organized on our excursions boats to Visovac Island, Roski slap, the Krka monastery and the Trosenj fortress.


 

 
  • Shrine of the Our Lady of Prizidnica

On the south side of Ciovo Island, in Prizidnica, among the steep cliffs above the sea, nearly five centuries ago the church of Our Lady of Prizdinica was built. The church is decorated with a painting of Our Lady of Grace, which is holding Jesus. Painting dates from 14th century and it is done by the famous art school from the island of Crete.

 

  •  Pantan (an ornithological reserve)
 Split-Dalmatia County in 2000. protected 50 hectars of Pantan as natural protected park. Heart of Pantan are renovated fortificated Remaissance Water Mills, as most prominent building at east Adriatic coast. Spring spruts is 8-12 m3 water/sec. , forming the lake and passing throught mills after one kilometer spreds at Adriatic sea sand lagoon. Pantan is locations for 163 bird type i hatchary 34 fish species, with 124 native plant species.
 

 

  • Plitvice lakes, national park (UNESCO 1979.)

In 1979, Plitvice Lakes National Park was added to the UNESCO World Heritage register among the first natural sites worldwide. It is the oldest national park in Southeast Europe and the largest national park in Croatia. The national park is world famous for its lakes arranged in cascades. Currently, 16 lakes can be seen from the surface. It represents a forested mountain in a series of 16 small and large crystal blue lakes.

 

  • Medjugorje, Marian apparition
Medjugorje is one of the most famous Catholic shrines in the world, located near Čitluk, in the southern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Blessed Virgin Mary, also known as Our Lady of Medjugorje or the Queen of Peace, for the first time was appeared on 24th of  June, in 1981. on the area called Podbrdo, on the hill Crnica in Medjugorje.
  
 
 
  • Split (UNESCO 1979.)
Split is the largest Dalmatian city, the second largest city in Croatia. The city center is the old Diocletian's palace from the 4th century (under UNESCO protection since 1979.), which is unique example in the world.
 
 
 
  •  Dubrovnik (UNESCO 1979.)

Dubrovnik (Latin Ragusium, soil. Ragusa) is a historic city in southern Croatian. In the Middle Ages it has become the Republic of Dubrovnik, the only city-state on the east coast of the Adriatic who rival Venice. Dubrovnik was one of the centers of development of the Croatian language and literature.
